Several Models For All Types Of Aircraft Made In The United States
ACR Electronics is making their complete suite of ARTEX ELTs available for the first time at this year’s AEA Show.
The ARTEX ELT suite is comprised of the ELT 345, ELT 1000, ELT 3000 and the ELT 3000HM. All four ELTs made in the USA are the most current ELTs to hit the avionics market, all of which are built under the exacting standards of AS9100C quality certification, and have received their Cospas-Sarsat and FAA approvals.
Each of ARTEX four ELT models are strategically designed to provide the general aviation, business jet, rotorcraft and commercial airframes with a competitive solution. All of the ARTEX ELTs are notably quick and easy retrofits with no aircraft power required for most assemblies. ELT 345 and ELT 1000 have a single antenna output for emergency transmission of 406 MHz (Cospas-Sarsat) and 121.5 MHz frequencies. ELT 3000 retains a single antenna output with transmission on 406 MHz (Cospas-Sarsat) and 121.5/243 MHz. Lastly, the ARTEX suite of ELTs all provide enhanced positional accuracy with a built in GPS interface.
Some highlighted differentiations of the ARTEX ELT suite are as follows: The ELT 345 brings an affordable 406 MHz ELT to the experimental and general aviation market, competitively priced near $555. The ELT 1000, offers numerous antenna and remote switch options making it customizable to an array of OEMs and turbo prop planes. Then the ELT 3000 most remarkably designed as the smallest and lightest transport grade 406 MHz beacon with a built-in GPS interface and adapter tray for easy conversion from our legacy products. The ELT 3000 HM the helicopter model is designed to allow helicopters to benefit from the ELT 3000’s lightweight form factor. The helicopter version also includes a five axis G-Switch which is automatically refreshed with each battery change.
“It has long been our mission to have the most comprehensive and capable ELT line-up in the market. With the addition of a new ELT every year for the past three years, I think we have shown the industry just that. With the quality, value-pricing and variation of specifications ARTEX ELTs exceeds, there is no reason to look anywhere else. Quality and innovation matter in this business and ARTEX is leading the way, Jeffery Geraci, Aviation Sales manager. ARTEX designs and manufactures an array of ARTEX ELT’s, battery packs and ELT accessories. ARTEX ELT’s serve a wide category of aircrafts ranging from general aviation to the world’s leading airframe manufacturers, large commercial airlines and government aircraft.
