Continental Names New Senior VP Engineering For Global Development Projects

Mr. Mr. Jürgen Schwarz Joins The Company In A Senior Level Position

Continental Motors Group Ltd, an AVIC International Holding Corporation company, has hired Mr. Mr. Jürgen Schwarz, who joins Continental Motors as Senior Vice President, Engineering effective January 2015. Mr. Schwarz is responsible for overseeing the engineering operation and product development of the integrated engineering group including the engineering teams at Continental Motors, Inc., Mobile, Alabama and Technify Motors GmbH, St. Egidien, Germany.

“The task of this newly generated position is to continue moving forward our various engineering initiatives,” said Rhett Ross, Vice President, AVIC International and Director, Continental Motors Group. “Mr. Schwarz will ensure the successful integration of our exceptional talents to deliver technologically advanced engines and continuously improve current products to our worldwide customers," Ross said.

Mr. Schwarz holds a degree as Diplom-lngenieur in Mechanical Engineering and has many years’ experience in the automotive and aviation engine market. He will be based at the facility in Germany. Mr. Schwarz will be involved in all daily aspects of  engineering including responsibility for all product development and sustainment, as well as interaction with the international regulatory agencies.
