Owners, Builders, Pilots Get Together To Discuss All Things
Lancair
LOBO has joined forces with Lancair International Inc. to plan
and organize the First Annual LOBO/Lancair Fly-in this fall.
Scheduled for October 7-9, 2011 at the Taney County Airport (KPLK)
near Branson, Missouri, this event will unite owners, builders and
pilots with those who supply and support them.
“As part of its charter to foster and build relations with
vendors and the general aviation community, LOBO couldn’t
have asked for a better partner than Lancair International to aid
us in providing our members a venue to network with suppliers, meet
other owners and learn more about their aircraft,” said LOBO
Vice-President and Social Chairperson, Claudette Colwell, adding,
“anyone who has ever thought about owning a Lancair aircraft
or considered supporting the Lancair community with products and
services should not miss this chance to join us at Branson in
October to celebrate personal aviation, Lancair style!”
Attendees can look forward to a fun, fly-in setting affording an
opportunity to learn more about building, flying and maintaining
Lancair aircraft. The two-day schedule includes fact-filled forums,
hands-on demonstrations, challenging builder and pilot skill
competitions, informative vendor displays, field trips enjoying the
local highlights, delectable victuals and a chance for proud owners
to show off their aircraft while enjoying the conversation and
company of fellow builders and owners.
