National Airlines Announces B747-400F Operating Authority

Next Goal Is Authority To Fly 757 Combis

National Airline has initiated Boeing 747-400F flight operations. The carrier recently completed their FAA certification and received authority from the US Department of Transportation.

National's inaugural 747-400F long range, intercontinental all-cargo aircraft offers 113 tons of cargo capacity.  "National is extremely proud to bring our trademark excellence to the widebody, long range market.  We look forward to complementing our global passenger and cargo services by offering customized track program and ad-hoc charter service to support National Air Cargo's growing transportation requirements as well as the unique requirements of government agencies, charter broker and freight forwarder customers world-wide.  Regardless of where our customers want to go, whether their destination is within North America, Europe, South America, Asia, South Pacific, Africa or the Caribbean, National stands ready to deliver," said Steven Harrison, President, National Airlines.

National's expansion efforts will now focus exclusively on gaining US government operating authority for its four Boeing 757-200 Combis to augment its existing fleet of B757, B747 and DC-8 aircraft.
