But M5 Attendees Will First Need To Solve 'The Puzzle'
Cirrus Design has
announced that the first public viewing of any appreciable portion
of "The-Jet" will come at this summer's annual Cirrus Owners and
Pilots Association (COPA) gathering, otherwise known as "The
Migration." The Fifth Annual rendition of this event, known as "M5"
for short, is on the books for the end of June.
In an communication sent to position holders for the much
anticipated Cirrus Jet offering, Cirrus officials announced that,
"We'll be showing a full size mockup of 'the-jet' -- the first
public display of the aircraft you'll be flying in the future. This
by-invitation-only unveiling will take place shortly after you've
completed the puzzle, so this is a wonderful opportunity to get an
up-close look at 'the-jet' and share in the excitement.
"As we promised, you and our other position holders are the
first to hear the news of the unveiling and all the news on
'the-jet.' You will also be the first to see the full size version
of this amazing aircraft in a special position-holders event."
According to information first released to ANN, the FJ33 powered
Cirrus jet offering is targeted to be priced at or below $1 million
dollars, and be equipped with an emergency parachute recovery
system similar to that already installed on over 3000 SR20s and
SR22s.
Cirrus promised that more
details would be made available shortly, but has previously
descibed their proposed offering as "slowest, lowest, and cheapest
jet available."
The Fifth Annual Cirrus Migration will take place in
Duluth, MN from June 28 to July 1.
