USAF Thunderbirds Gain Unique Perspective On Shuttle Endeavour

T-Bird's Eye View???

On their return home from the Daytona 500 Monday, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds caught a unique glimpse of the space shuttle Endeavour on the pad for its anticipated March 11 launch. We'll bet that they enjoyed the view from up there, as much as those on the ground did of them.

This is not the first time the T-Birds have gotten up close and personal with the Cape.

The Thunderbirds performed at the Kennedy Space Center for the first time in November during the World Space Expo, an event held to celebrate NASA's 50th Anniversary. Building on the success of that event, NASA Wallops Flight Facility will host U.S. Air Force aircraft for the inaugural OC Air Show in Ocean City, Md., June 10 and 11, 2008.

ANN will be there to cover the event for both Aero-News and Aero-TV.
