Air Journey Plans Escape

No Plans for Labor Day?

Can you imagine flying to the Bahamas for a weekend of fun with a group of other pilots? A guided escape to the Exumas is one of the next exciting trips planned by Thierry (Terry) Pouille of Air Journey.

Air Journey is a company that takes the hassle and uncertainty out of trips to the Bahamas and many other destinations. Many people are reluctant to go on a trip like this themselves, as they're unsure of how to handle customs, flying over water, and other regulations. Then of course, it's important to know where to go, where to stay, and what to see!

Thierry and his crew specialize in making these trips enjoyable and educational. They take care of all of the nit-picky logistical details so that the guests can enjoy the scenery, beaches, and local sights. The company has been in business for several years, and has led trips to the Bahamas and Caribbean probably more times than they can count.

They've also done many other adventure and scenery filled trips, including journeys around South America, across the US, and even across the Atlantic, most recently to the Paris Air Show.

This is just one example of the many trips they offer:

A Labor Day Journey To The Bahamas

Staniel Cay Yacht Club, Exumas. A Bahamas destination full of surprises, beauty, uniqueness and friendship.

Friday, September 2 to Monday, September 5, 2005

Join Air Journey to this "close of the summer" destination and enjoy one of the most blessed destinations in the Bahamas. We will leave from Lantana (KLNA), south of Palm Beach International, for this quiet weekend.

The island of Staniel Cay is nestled in the magnificent chain of Bahamian Islands called The Exuma Cays (a.k.a. "Exumas"). Staniel Cay lies approximately 75 miles south of Nassau and 250 miles southeast of Florida. The island itself is less than 2 square miles in area. A small Bahamian village lies on the western shore, just a short walk south from the Staniel Cay Yacht Club.

Cost is $495.00 per person, double occupancy.

Registration is $350.00 per plane.
