First Bizjet Sale Of CMC's New PilotView Electronic Flight Bag

Installation To Be Performed At Mid-Canada Mod Center

CMC Electronics Inc. has been awarded a contract for a dual PilotView Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) installation from Mid-Canada Mod Center (MC2). This installation will be for a long-standing MC2 client on their recently acquired Falcon-50 corporate aircraft. The installation will take place during October 2004, making this the first business jet in Canada to be outfitted with a CMC Electronics' PilotView EFB.

Bill Arsenault, Vice President, Mid-Canada Mod Center, said he was very impressed with the PilotView EFB and its avionics-grade hardware. "I believe that CMC Electronics has built a Class 2 EFB that pilots will find reliable and valuable - and will embrace as 'must have' technology. We look forward to this Falcon-50 installation and subsequent STC, along with many more, which I am sure will follow once the industry starts to get a look at this unit in the field."

"We are delighted to announce the first business jet sale of our new PilotView EFB to Mid-Canada Mod Center. With features that are usually not found in a Class 2 EFB, the CMC Electronics' PilotView EFB is truly in a class of its own," said Bruce Bailey, CMC Electronics Vice President, Commercial Aviation.

CMC Electronics launched its Electronic Flight Bag line of products last year and retained responsibility for the former Northstar aviation sector products after the sale of its subsidiary Northstar Technologies to Brunswick Corporation of Lake Forest (IL). The former Northstar aviation sector products, include the CT-1000G Electronic Flight Bag and the M1 and M3 series GPS products.
