Florida Company Adds Supports For Mi-8, Mi-17 Helicopters

Provides Maintenance Tracking Coverage For Russian Helos

Bell Helicopter affiliate SkyBOOKS has expanded its electronic maintenance tracking capability for Russian Mi helicopters. The Jacksonville, FL-based company now provides maintenance tracking coverage for the MI-8 and MI-17 series helicopters.

"SkyBOOKS allows customers to spend more time performing critical maintenance functions by simplifying the maintenance tracking and document control process," said John Willis, SkyBOOKS chief operating officer on Wednesday.  "We are very pleased to add the Mi helicopter series as we continue our support of the global aviation industry."

Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopter operators will benefit from SkyBOOKS' streamlined functionality for flight records and aircraft usage and optimized maintenance tracking features, as well as removing language barriers and monitoring of time before overhaul limits. SkyBOOKS maintenance tracking program saves time and eliminates errors, allowing maintainers to easily forecast, update, print reports and stay compliant. SkyBOOKS tab structure combined with its Airworthiness Directive and Service Bulletin alerts allow users to easily identify new maintenance and service actions and intuitively navigate through the program.

SkyBOOKS also provides electronic maintenance tracking solutions for: Bell Helicopter, Cessna, Bombardier, Learjet, Hawker Beechcraft, Falcon, Piper, Piaggio, Pilatus, Sikorsky, Eurocopter, Agusta Westland, Robinson and MD Helicopters aircraft.
