US Sport Aircraft Officially Rebrands as Thrust Flight During AirVenture 2018

Featuring Thrust Flight Academy and Partnerships

By Maxine Scheer

During a Wednesday, July 25, 2018 press conference at AirVenture 2018, Stuart Stevenson, Vice President of Addison, Texas based Thrust Flight announced that US Sport Aircraft was rebranding into Thrust Flight. With our heritage in the LSA market, the company has now widened into a full range general aviation mainstay.

The second announcement was Thrust Flight Academy's Zero Time to Airline Program, noted as a fast-track path to an airline career.

Chief Flight Instructor, Liz Brassaw described it as a proven path to take students from zero experience in airplanes through being airline pilots. The year 1 learning moves students from Private through Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), and in the second-year students work as a flight instructor to offset costs, which is a huge benefit.Brassaw described the Thrust CFI Flight Academy as world class.  Airline partners identified as hiring directly from the Thrust Zero Time to Airline program include Air Wisconsin, Envoy, Republic, and SkyWest.

President of Thrust, Patrick Arnzen, announced a partnership with Dynon Avionics. Thrust is now a premier partner for installation of the Dynon HDX, bringing new life into older aircraft, with installation of an integrated suite. We’re offering a full system for the entire panel, intended to get rid of band aids of equipment on aircraft. With the Dynon HDX suite we can provide a technically advanced aircraft at one third the cost.
