Dassault Falcon and CAE SimuFlite Team Up

Win-Win Deal?

Dassault Falcon has signed a Maintenance Training Services Agreement with CAE SimuFlite, hoping to improve quality and effectiveness for customers of both companies.

"The agreement represents a commitment on the part of CAE SimuFlite and its instructors to meet Dassault's technical training requirements," said Dean Anderson, Director of the Service Network and Maintenance Training, referring to the stringent requirements laid out in Dassault's Falcon Training Policy Manual (FTPM). "The agreement is important because it closely adheres to our FTPM standards and requirements.  The FTPM process is in place precisely to provide an enhanced level of training for both maintenance technicians and pilots, so this advanced training program will be a great benefit to our mutual customers."

Under FTPM, Dassault defines the objectives necessary to meet training requirements to operate and support Falcon aircraft.  These requirements are defined by the manufacturer, under an expanded relationship between Dassault and its training providers, who will be regularly evaluated and audited for compliance.  In return, Dassault's certification acknowledges that both the instructors and their training courses met the expanded training requirements.

CAE SimuFlite will be involved in developing and delivering this advance training program under the observation of Dassault's Technical Education Services group.  In return, Dassault Falcon recognizes CAE SimuFlite as a Dassault-approved training provider.

This joint effort under the FTPM will focus on Dassault's Falcon 50/50EX, Falcon 900/900EX and Falcon 2000/2000EX aircraft, and will carry over to earlier Falcon models beginning next year.

"CAE SimuFlite is working hard to ensure that the high standards Dassault has set for this training program are being met," Anderson said.  "Falcon technicians receiving instruction under this program will benefit from a higher level of skill knowledge for maintenance, service and support of their Dassault Falcon aircraft."
