FAA Announces Next Domestic RVSM meeting

Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum, Seminar 3

The FAA will present the third seminar on DRVSM on February 4-5, 2003 in Los Angeles, California at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, 9750 Airport Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90045. The intent of this seminar is to provide information to operators and other interested parties from the southwestern area of the country. However, anyone who is interested may attend.

Daily sessions will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2003, and will begin at 9:00 AM and end at approximately 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 5, 2003. The tentative agenda will include the following:

  • Domestic RVSM Program Overview
  • Aircraft and Operator Approval Policies/Processes
  • Safety and Monitoring Considerations
  • Air Traffic Services Programs/Policies
  • Summary and Closing Discussion
More Seminars to Come:

Additional DRVSM seminars will be conducted in the northwestern and central/Great Lakes areas at approximately six-month intervals to accommodate attendees from those general areas. The next seminar will be held in early Summer 2003. Details will be announced at a later date.
