The Salina Airport Authority has named Kenny Bieker as Manager of Facilities to manage existing facilities and development projects. He begins June 23.

In Bieker's new position, he will be responsible for managing nearly 900,000 sq. ft. of existing manufacturing, warehouse, hangar and office space at the Salina Municipal Airport and Airport Industrial Center. His staff will include one facilities maintenance team leader and five maintenance technicians.

Bieker's near-term challenges will include new building construction that could total over 1 million square feet and an estimated $11 million in airfield construction over the next five years.
