Two Receive Master Instructor Designation In June

National Accreditation Recognized By The FAA

Two instructors have renewed their Master Instructor designation in the month of June.

Master Instructors LLC said in a news release that both were accredited as Masters by Master Instructors LLC, the international Master Instructor accrediting authority. They obtained their designation through the Master Instructor "Fluid Review" program online.

Professional aviation educators who earned or renewed their "Master" title during June 2017 are:

Paul Weston "BJ" Ransbury, Queen Creek, AZ. Master CFI-Aerobatic  
Paul "BJ" Ransbury, a 6-time Master as well as SAFE and IAC member, recently renewed his Master CFI-Aerobatic accreditation.  BJ is the president & CEO of Aviation Performance Solutions LLC, a Part 61 & 141 flight school at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) in addition to several other national and international venues.  He is a published author, speaker and internationally recognized expert in Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) as well as fighter aviation, stall / spin awareness, aerobatics, and loss of control intervention training.  E-mail Paul.Ransbury@APSTraining.com

James Matthew "Matt" Johnson, Hamilton, OH. Master CFI-Helicopter
Matthew Johnson, a 4-time Master and SAFE member, recently renewed his Master CFI-Helicopter accreditation.  A full time air medical helicopter pilot, Matt also operates MattJohnsonHeliCFI where he provides emergency procedures and instrument training in several makes and models of helicopters.  Additionally, he serves as a designated pilot examiner (DPE) and FAASTeam representative in the FAA's Cincinnati (CVG) FSDO area. Many of the most recent National Flight Instructors of the Year or National FAASTeam Representatives of the Year were Master CFIs. In addition, the FAA has approved the accreditation as an alternate means for CFIs to renew their flight instructor certificates.
