Bombardier Delivers 150th Challenger 300 Bizjet

Comes Less Than One Year After 100th Delivery

Bombardier announced this week the delivery into service of the 150th manufactured "super-midsize" Challenger 300 business jet. The aircraft was delivered on July 31 to Flexjet, Bombardier's fractional business jet ownership program.

The planemaker states the delivery is a sign of the ongoing strength of Bombardier's Challenger business jet program, as its success continues to build.

Since its entry into service in 2004, the Challenger 300 has racked up customer compliments... as well as five world record flights sanctioned by the National Aeronautic Association. Bombardier also notes the jet offers dispatch reliability over 99 percent.

"This milestone delivery clearly emphasizes the strength and leadership of this young program as well as customers' confidence in the Challenger 300 jet, which sets the standard for performance, reliability and dependability in the super midsize category," stated Eric Martel, vice-president and general manager, Challenger and Global aircraft.

As ANN reported, Bombardier delivered the 100th Challenger 300 in October 2006.
