Even if you're not in
the market for a new engine for your SportPlane, this is a site
that deserves a visit...
Superior, Inc. has released their new XP-360 Engine® web
site: www.xp-360.com. The
XP-360 Engine® is a new “zero-time” piston aircraft
engine designed to meet the growing demands of the sport aviation
market.
“We wanted to give our customers in the
sport aviation market a way of showing our commitment to this
market place, and the new web site is just the beginning,”
announced Tim Archer, Senior Vice President.
The site was created with the vision and direction of
Bernie Coleman, President and CEO, and Tim Archer, and with the
cutting-edge talent of Aztec Systems, Inc. “The site is truly
a technological advance in interactive web design where customers
can actually build their own XP-360 Engine® - online,”
stated Archer. The “Build an Engine” icon can be found
throughout the site, and it takes the customer to the beginning of
the build process with a base engine and a base price. Customers
can view their engine at a 360º angle, close-up and even
select different engine colors.
Customers can also add components and accessories to their base
engine model, and the price of the base model changes according to
their selections. This entire process creates an Engine Summary
that details the customer’s engine specifications to an order
that can be placed with Superior.
Additional features of the
site include a News section on the homepage for Superior press
releases, an engine overview section, summaries and brochures.
Users will also find information about what’s new in Sport
Aviation and a FAQ section. Superior company information, maps and
contact information can also be found on the new site.
Superior Air Parts, Inc. is the world’s largest
manufacturer of FAA approved replacement parts for Lycoming and
Continental aircraft engines and is a leading manufacturer for
aftermarket and new replacement engines.
