High performance airplanes of various types will be screaming
through the sky during the Tunica Air Races and Air Show just a few
miles south of Memphis. The Tunica Airport, in Tunica, Mississippi
will host aerobatic performers, aviation displays and three classes
of air racing from June 2nd to 5th, 2005.
Remember the Cessna Citation that ran off the end of the Bader
Field's runway and into the bay two weeks ago? The NTSB preliminary
report says that the brakes and emergency brakes were working
during the incident on Sunday, May 15th, 2005.
Ken and Wendy Kellett want their wings and tail back. A trailer
containing the wings and tail of a 75-year-old French Caudron
biplane were stolen from the Auburndale, Florida home that they
rent out earlier this month.
Pilot David Sifft of Skydive Midwest dropped seven skydivers out
of the plane at 13,000 feet near Yorkville Wisconsin Thursday.
While returning to land, the wing of his plane hit one of the
skydivers while only 25 feet above the ground.
