Metro Aviation Names New Director Of Part 135 Training

Casey Marland Joins The Company

Metro Aviation is pleased to announce that Casey Marland has joined the Metro family as the Director of Part 135 Training.

Marland is a veteran with 30 years of aviation training and management experience. During his successful career he has been a Chief Pilot, Senior Aviation Training Manager, Regional Aviation Director and Manager, Army Aviation Brigade Executive Officer, Check Airman and more. Marland brings more than 25 years of EMS experience to Metro. He has an excess of 6,300 hours of total flight time and has transported more than 3,000 patients.

“The safety of our employees and customers is always at the forefront of our minds when making hiring decisions and the experience that Casey Marland brings to Metro ensures our pilots will continue to receive the best training possible,” said Director of Operations Jim Arthur. “Under Mr. Marland’s leadership, not only will the quality of our pilot training program remain world-class, the process in which we administer these programs will become more efficient for our pilots and operations customers.”

Metro Aviation pilots train at the Helicopter Flight Training Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. They are required to complete annual simulator training and bi-annual check rides.
