First TBM 700 delivered in Czech Republic

EADS Socata announces today the delivery of its first TBM 700 to M. Jindrich Zivotsky CEO of OKAY s.r.o. based in Brno, Czech Republic, for its corporate transportation needs.
OKAY is a leading consumer electronics specialty retailer with 47 shops in the Czech and Slovak Republic and has plans to develop its business in neighboring countries such as Poland.

"The brand new TBM 700C2 we have purchased will ease the frequent travels of our executives needed by our expansion in Europe." stated Jindrich Zivotsky CEO of OKAY.

"We are glad to welcome OKAY as our first Czech Republic customer and we are proud that our airplane will be a key tool for their development and we wish them great success. " replied Stephane Mayer, CEO of EADS Socata.

The TBM 700C2 introduced last year is a direct result of EADS Socata's philosophy of continued product development to meet customer needs. It delivers improved payload/range performance to TBM operators, with a maximum mission distance of 1565 NM (with a 45-min reserve) with an 864-lbs (392-kg) payload, easing communications within Europe.
