The Mooney Aircraft Company has been around for a long while, and the production of the aircraft has been a start and stop affair. Now, Mooney is making a well-planned and carefully considered come-back with a line of products that are new and exciting.
While at EAA AirVenture 2016, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, talked with Mooney’s vice president of sales and marketing, Dirk Vander Zee. Vander Zee starts off by saying the Mooney M20 series has been completely reimagined.
Vander Zee describes their new Mooney Acclaim Ultra, and better yet, our video shows it to you. The entire cockpit and cabin area has been revamped with the most obvious change being an entrance door on both sides of the cockpit.
Jim also asked some questions about the new Mooney trainer that is being referred to as the M10. Vander Zee explains that it is being considered primarily for the emerging Asian market. As the video shows you the planform of the M10, you’ll see that it is unique and is intended for both training and for the recreational market. Watch the video; you’ll be impressed by what you see.
