FATA Issues Call To Action For Florida Pilots

Urges Aviators And Interested Parties To Contact Florida Senate Concerning SB220

The Florida Aviation Trades Association (FATA) has issued the following "call to action" to pilots in the Sunshine State:

"Our members have been a driving force to get the use tax exemption bills through the House and Senate. We have one more hurdle and we are calling on you again to do one thing. We need to have SB220 withdrawn from the Ways & Means committee so it can go straight to the Senate Floor. The Ways & Means committee convenes tomorrow (Tuesday) but the Bill is not on the agenda. By withdrawing it from committee, it can move directly to the Senate floor."

FATA asks Florida pilots to send the request to Senator J.D. Alexander, Chairman of Ways & Means, at alexander.jd.web@flsenate.gov, or call the Senator's office at (850) 487-5044 with the following message:

"Please withdraw SB220 from the Ways & Means Committee. It has no fiscal impact. Withdrawing it will allow SB220 to move forward to the Senate floor."
