Precise Flight Announces O2 System Retrofit For Cirrus SR22s

Fixed Oxygen System Standard In Turbocharged Models

Precise Flight, Inc. told ANN Tuesday the Precise Flight/Cirrus Design Fixed Oxygen System, standard on the turbocharged Cirrus SR22 and SE22 since fall of '06, is now available in the aftermarket as a retrofit for all SR22s, starting with the G2.

"It is our promise to continually meet our customers' needs with the most improved and advanced technology on the market. And we stand behind that promise, not just for customers purchasing this year's newest models, but for all valued Cirrus customers," said Ian Bentley, Vice President of Customer Relations for Cirrus Design. "Flying with the Precise/Cirrus Fixed Oxygen System will not only upgrade existing models to the most recent advancements in technology, it will do so with safety in mind, providing the option of flying with an integrated oxygen system for all Cirrus SR22 G2 and later aircraft."

The Fixed Oxygen System is built to provide the pilot and up to three passengers a convenient, easy to operate and high capacity source of oxygen. Key features of the system are the lightweight, 77 cubic feet carbon fiber-wrapped cylinder, an electronic control panel that displays oxygen quantity, visual warning to the pilot when oxygen should be used in the aircraft and an incorporated toggle switch for activating the flow of oxygen to the cabin.

The system also features an overhead distribution panel containing high-powered LED's to illuminate the cabin, and the ability for each occupant to individually control their flow of oxygen based on altitude and individual requirements.

"Precise Flight is pleased to respond to the increasing demand in the market for the Precise/Cirrus Fixed Oxygen System. Our continued relationship with Cirrus Design provides an unsurpassable benefit to both our customers: Cirrus with its best-in-class aircraft, and Precise Flight with its best-in-class oxygen technology," said Charlie Babb, Account Executive for Precise Flight.

The Precise Flight/Cirrus Fixed Oxygen System will be available through Cirrus Authorized Service Centers for all Cirrus SR22 models, starting with the G2.
