Icecraft Ltd. Extends Orders of New Cessna Jets to 10 for
Scandinavia
Icecraft Ltd., (the
Cessna Aircraft Company Citation Authorized Sales
Representative for Scandinavia), has signed contracts
at NBAA 2006, for six additional Citation business jets. This
brings the number of Cessna Citation business jets ordered through
Icecraft Ltd. in the last year to 10. The total order comprises
three Citation Sovereigns, three Citation XLS/ XLS+, three Citation
CJ2+ and one CJ1+, for a total value of about $110
million.
"This order reflects Cessna's position as the market leader in
business jet sales in the Scandinavian region," said Sigurjon
Asbjornsson, managing director of Icecraft Ltd. "We are proud the
Cessna Citation business jets have performance profiles very
well-suited for this part of the world, and we hope to see more
businesses and individuals discover the benefits of Cessna jet
ownership in this region."
Asbjornsson said customers particularly like the XLS and
Sovereign aircraft because they have roomy stand-up cabins, the
ability to complete missions to all main European destinations from
the northern most areas of the Nordic region, competitive pricing,
and operational economy.
"Icecraft has developed a uniquely professional style in the
Nordic region, which is very much appreciated by our customers,"
said Trevor Esling, Cessna vice president of international
sales.
"Icecraft's primary objective is always to meet customer
expectations, and through the company's tireless efforts, combined
with the excellent fit of the Citation product line to the
requirements of the region, Citations are proven as the aircraft of
choice for Scandinavia."
Cessna has not divulged how many green stamps Icecraft gets for
such an order....
