AEA '03: ElectronicFlight Solutions CompleteLearning S/W Library--FAA Accepted

FAA Accepted for Technician, Mechanic, and Pilot Training

The FAA has now approved the ElectronicFlight Solutions' CompleteLearning Library of avionics training modules on Weather, Traffic, Terrain Awareness and Garmin GNS 530/430 as credit for the required training for the Inspection Authorization (IA) renewal program, under section 65.93(a)(4). Each module of Weather, Traffic and Terrain counts as four (4) hours of training, while the Garmin module counts as (8) eight hours. Upon completion of a training module, a technician will receive a certificate with the proper FAA endorsement.

Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Awards Program - ElectronicFlight CompleteLearning Library of training modules has also been accepted as training credit in the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Awards Program for airframe & power plant technicians.

Technician Training under Part 145 - After successful completion of training and testing of ElectronicFlight Solutions CompleteLearning Software technicians will receive a certificate of training acceptable under Part 145.

Pilot Training - All four available modules have been accepted for the "Wings" pilot proficiency program. After successful completion of training and testing each pilot will receive a certificate of training that will be sent in to the FAA for credit towards the Wings program.
