WAI To Head For Nashville Next Year

17th Annual Women in Aviation Conference Set for Music City

The 17th Annual International Women in Aviation Conference will be held from Thursday, March 23 through Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference will take place at the Opryland Hotel.

With the theme of "Reaching New Heights of Success," participants in the 2006 WAI Conference will be immersed in the tactics and strategies necessary for successful aviation careers. More than 3,000 women and men from all segments of the aviation industry are expected to attend.
The Conference will also include a full array of speakers, a trade show with an estimated 120 companies, job fair exhibit area, more than 40 educational seminars and numerous networking opportunities.

Other activities reflecting WAI's membership are also planned, including an Aerospace Education Teacher Workshop, an FAA Aviation Maintenance Professional Renewal Course and a FAA Safety Seminar. Women in Aviation International will also honor its annual Pioneer Hall of Fame inductees and scholarship recipients.
