XCOR Congratulates President Bush

Finally! HR 5382 Becomes Law

XCOR Aerospace thanked and congratulated President Bush on signing HR 5382, "The Commercial Space Launch Amendments Act of 2004," into law recently. This important bipartisan legislation updates the Commercial Space Launch Act and puts commercial human space flight on a clear legal foundation. The bill also takes other important steps to improve the regulatory environment and reduce investor uncertainty facing this new industry. HR 5382 will help harness the power of private enterprise to the task of making space travel affordable for all of us.

"Ultimately, we must give credit to the elected officials who put their reputations on the line to help pass this bill, especially Congressmen Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) and Sherwood Boehlert (R-NY)," said XCOR CEO Jeff Greason.

"They did not give up hope and worked tirelessly with their staffs to achieve passage. Senators Hollings (D-SC), Reid (D-NV), Inhofe (R-OK), Brownback (R-KS), McCain (R-AZ), and Feinstein (D-CA) all worked to help pass this legislation in the Senate. Our children will be grateful for their courageous action on behalf of the American people."

XCOR Aerospace is a California corporation located in Mojave, California. The company is in the business of developing and producing safe, reliable and reusable rocket engines and rocket powered vehicles.
