Bizliner Aviation Completes Ditching Training For BBJ2 Operator

Third Class To Teach Cabin Crews How To Put A Big Airplane In The Water

A comprehensive cockpit and cabin crew ditching training to required FAA Part 125 standards has recently been completed by Bizliner Aviation for a major North American BBJ2 operator. This is the third time Bizliner has provided this type of training for this large aircraft operator.

Bizliner developed customized ditching checklists and standard procedures for both cockpit and cabin crews.  The training was performed on site using the BBJ2 for emergency door operation, evacuation, and raft use in the inflated position.

FAA Operations, Maintenance, and Cabin Safety Inspectors observed the training and provided approval for checklists and procedures. The customer commented, “The training was customized to our needs and schedule and the Bizliner team developed manuals, checklists, and laminated procedures cards for our operation.  Their attention to detail was incredible.  Bizliner coordinated with the FAA and the FBO, preparing hangar space for inflation and even facilitated the shipping of the used rafts. The training event far exceeded our expectations and Bizliner will be our first choice for training in the future.”
