Daher-Socata Highlights The Business Value Of TBM 850

Aircraft On Static Display At Orlando Executive Airport

Daher-Socata is spotlighting the operating economics of its TBM 850 Very Fast Turboprop aircraft at the 2009 NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention – which brings together the business aviation sector’s key players this week in Orlando, Florida.

A TBM 850 Model Year 2009 is being displayed at Orlando Executive Airport, and Daher-Socata representatives will be at the company’s booth in the Orange County Convention Center to meet with current TBM operators and potential future customers, as well as industry partners.

Much of the focus at this year’s NBAA gathering will be on supporting business air transportation in today’s challenging economic environment. The 2009 meeting’s activities include education sessions tailored for light aircraft owners, pilots and entrepreneurs who may be considering the value an airplane could provide for their business operations.

“We salute the NBAA’s efforts to address the concerns of entrepreneurs today in revitalizing this country’s economy,” said Nicolas Chabbert, Daher-Socata’s North America President. “They all are looking for efficient transportation solutions, and the TBM850 is one of the best suited for owner/operators. The NBAA's Annual Meeting & Convention offers an excellent opportunity for the entrepreneurial community to become acquainted with our aircraft in its role as a transportation tool.”

The U.S. is the largest single market for TBM family aircraft. In 2009, more than 70 percent of all TBM850 deliveries to date have been for U.S.-based owner/operators.
