ALC Delivers First E190 To TRIP

Airline Expecting Five More Embraer E-Jets From Udvar-Hazy's Group

Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has delivered its first new Embraer aircraft from the direct order placed at the Farnborough International Air-Show in 2010. This is ALC’s first of six CF34-10E7-powered E190s leased to TRIP Linhas Aéreas.

"The strength of our order book containing modern, fuel efficient aircraft and key delivery positions will drive long term growth at ALC. We are very pleased to see this strategy unfold, as we deliver the first E190 from our order book to TRIP, Brazil’s largest regional airline. We look forward to continuing our long term partnerships with both Embraer and TRIP," said Steven F. Udvar-Hazy (pictured below), Chairman and CEO of ALC.

The E-Jet Family is known for its versatility among regional narrow body aircraft. Last month’s Paris Air Show order brought ALC’s current contract with Embraer to 30 E-Jets, including 25 E190s and 5 E175s.

Launched in 2010, ALC is an aircraft leasing company based in Los Angeles, California that has airline customers throughout the world. ALC is engaged in purchasing commercial aircraft and leasing them to its airline partners worldwide through customized aircraft leasing and financing solutions.
