NextGen Fund Program Announces Initial Product Order And Introductory Pricing

NGT-1000 Available For $1,599

Following the establishment of the Jumpstart GA 2020 program, The NextGen GA Fund said it has made its first order to supply basic ADS-B compliant solutions to general aviation aircraft owners, and announced introductory pricing.

The initial Jumpstart product selection process included five avionics manufacturers with certified, basic ADS-B rule-compliant offerings. With the L-3 Lynx NGT-1000 product and strong company support, L-3 Aviation Products delivered best overall value to the Jumpstart program, culminating in an order for 10,000 units. Introductory dealer pricing for the L-3 Lynx NGT-1000 will begin at $1,599. Orders can be placed by FAA-authorized repair stations and dealers through either L-3 Aviation Products or directly to the GA Fund.

The NextGen GA Fund is a public-private partnership formed under Section 221 of the FAA Reauthorization and Reform Act of 2012, and is currently 100 percent funded by the private sector. The NextGen GA Fund will eventually support over $1 billion in NextGen avionics financings for general aviation operators to retrofit tens of thousands of turbine and twin engine aircraft.
