Aircraft Ordered From Airbus In March

CIT Group has selected the V2500 engine to power five Airbus A321ceo aircraft that it ordered in March 2015. The V2500 engine is offered through IAE International Aero Engines AG, a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders comprise Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH, Japanese Aero Engines Corporation and MTU Aero Engines.

"We are committed to providing our customers cost effective and fuel-efficient aircraft and the V2500 engine will assist us in accomplishing this goal," said Tony Diaz, president of CIT Commercial Air.

To date, more than 6,500 V2500 engines have been delivered to nearly 200 customers around the world.
