Embraer Delivers First Executive Jet To Germany's Vibroair

Firm Orders For Two Phenom 300s, One Legacy 500 And One Legacy 600

Embraer delivered a Legacy 600 executive jet to vibroair Flugservice GmbH&Co.KG, last week, at Embraer’s headquarters in São José dos Campos, Brazil. This is the first aircraft to be delivered to the German customer, based at Düsseldorf International Airport, and represents the beginning of what may be a long-term relationship between the companies. Vibroair has firm orders for two light Phenom 300 executive jets to be delivered in 2014, as well as a midsize Legacy 500 for the same year.

“Embraer’s reputation for producing quality commercial jets weighed heavily in our choice of these business jets, which I consider to be products of the future.” said Ulrich Sigmann, vibroair’s Commercial Director. “The Legacy 600 will be used in one of Europe’s most populated areas – the Rhine-Ruhr region – and beyond, through our private charter service.”

The Legacy 600 jet entered service in 2002, and shares important qualities with the ERJ 145 regional jet platform, including low fuel consumption, reduced operating costs, ease of maintenance, and outstanding reliability. With more than 170 units flying in 26 countries, worldwide, the Legacy 600 is customized for the needs of the executive aviation market, offering a range of up to 3,400 nautical miles, or 6,297 km, top-quality interior finishing, three distinct cabin zones, excellent comfort, and global assistance at dedicated executive jet service centers.
