Aero-TV At SnF21: From Twilight To Night-Time, SnF21 Rocked An Airshow

Warbirds, Balloons, Drones, Gliders, Formations... You Name It!

One of the best parts of a major fly-in like the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo are the many airshow performances that come our way as a result. SnF, though, has an ace up their sleeve by also adding TWO night airshows to the mix--offering a new dimension to the sights, sounds, and illuminating performances that cause airshow audiences to positively swoon.

This year’s night airshows were knockouts... From Lee Lauderback’s P-51 to the AeroShell team’s T-6 Texans (and their amazing lighting), the warbirds were well represented... On the glider front, Manfred Radius did his usual silent magic, while hot-air balloons, parachutists and the Paradigm paragliding group wowed EVERYONE.

Matt Quinn and the Great lakes Drone Company have come a LONG way and this year’s demonstrations showed the expertise, careful thought, and ingenuity they have brought to a whole new means of aerial entertainment. Some of the designs they drew in the sky with dozens of lighted drones were brilliant... and only make us wonder how they’re going to raise the bar for next year. There was much more to all this that can easily be described... but simply click on the video link and let the expert videographers of ANN, Nathan Cremisino, Tee Woods, and Kimberly Kay show you how cool it all was... at Snf 2021!
