The Newest IMC Club Chapter Is To Open At A Private Residence

Will Gather At A Home In Sherman Oaks Outside Los Angeles, CA

The newest IMC Club Chapter will be the first to meet at a private residence. Pilots will gather at Amir Blachman's home in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, CA, on Saturday April 20th for a barbecue and the official inaugural meeting of the new Los Angeles Chapter.

Mr. Blachman’s leadership experience began when he served as an instructor in the Israeli Air Force. He went on to help three companies grow from startup phase to multi-million-dollar exits. He also helped a publicly-traded investment company resolve costly operational issues and he served as principal on several real estate deals.

He has been credited with identifying companies' most valuable competitive offering(s), identifying and attracting client bases, and establishing internal metrics and expert teams that succeed in answering clients' needs.  He has presented to the Association of Strategic Planning, instructing on the industry-agnostic elements of growing companies and achieving high valuations.

Mr. Blachman attributes his ability to help companies reach their goals to an education consisting of a BA in Psychology from UCSB, an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and training as a pilot. “This will be the first meeting of the Los Angeles chapter of the IMC Club. The IMC Club is a fun, well-organized forum to learn from others’ experience and just have fun with a great group of fellow pilots! At this meeting, we'll go over two IFR scenarios and then have an outdoor potluck BBQ overlooking the valley, Van Nuys airport and the beautiful sunset.  The fact that the FAA’s Safety Team has recognized our events by giving participants WINGS credits attests to the quality of the event.  I think it’s especially beneficial that prospective members will also have the unique opportunity to interact with IMC Club founder and President Radek Wyrzykowski,” Blachman said.

“I want to thank Amir for this idea and for allowing his fellow pilots to gather in his house. By creating these face-to-face social groups, we allow people to learn from one another and become a real part of this unique group of individuals who are a general aviation pilots. There is no better face-to-face discussion than at somebody’s house,” said Radek Wyrzykowski.

A few days later, On Tuesday 23rd, IMC Club International Inc. will be opening Chapter in San Diego, CA. Additional Chapters and meetings are planned also for Pennsylvania and Florida, all of which will bring the total number of IMC Club Chapters to more than 60.
