COPA M5 Attendees Will Be Greeted By Special Jeppesen Charts

Will Be Displayed On CMAX; Hard Copies Also Available

Pilots flying in for the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association's fifth annual gathering -- dubbed "M5" -- at the end of this month will be greeted by a uniquely personalized touch: specialized Jeppesen charts to be shown on the Multi-Function Displays of Avidyne Entegra-equipped Cirrus planes arriving and departing the four-day event.

CMAX provides instant access to Jeppesen JeppView electronic airport diagrams and instrument departure, arrival and approach charts. It automatically displays aircraft position overlaid on the airport diagram for positional awareness while taxiing. In flight, CMAX shows the aircraft position and flight plan on the selected approach chart.

Representatives with Cirrus tell ANN new departure procedures for this year's gathering will be displayed as well.

For attendees without CMAX capabilities in their planes, hard copies of the special charts will also be provided, according to Cirrus. The M5 gathering runs from June 28 through July 1 at Cirrus headquarters in Duluth, MN.
