Strange Doctor Spooks PAX

Unscheduled Landing Results From Weird Behavior

As Air China Flight CA975 cruised from Beijing to Singapore late Sunday night, one passenger drew the attention of many others, as he repeatedly went to the plane's lavatory. When he didn't come out for over an hour, on what turned out to be his last trip there, the crew got worried. They tapped politely on the door; after receiving no response, they went in.

The man, later identified as a China Southern customer who changed to Air China at the last minute, is a doctor from a hospital in the north-eastern city of Tianjin. He was sitting on the throne, fully clothed. He appeared uncooperative, and grew belligerent when questioning intensified.

The plane made a stop, just for him, in Shenzhen, where police took over. The flight resumed shortly after midnight. No one was injured; and we have no answers.
