In a televised press briefing, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has told the press that the flap debris found on the coast of Reunion Island is, in fact, a portion of the missing MH370 aircraft.

While the press briefing itself is an obvious fact, the French authorities examining the debris say they have positively identified it as a Boeing 777 flaperon, but have stopped short of making a positive statement that it is from Malaysian MH370. Google has confirmed that it will be moving Titan Aerospace, their UAV manufacturer it purchased last year, from Moriarty, New Mexico to the San Francisco Bay area. It’s reported that Moriarty Mayor Ted Hart also confirmed the move. Hart reportedly said that Google's economic impact on the city was "not substantial," and while some service businesses might suffer, Google had not employed a lot of people at Titan. The FAA has reportedly boosted the fees charged to GA pilots for the use of Air Traffic Control services for flights to Caribbean Islands, according to a news release from Caribbean Flying Adventures. Jim Parker of Caribbean Flying Adventures said that a recent example was a $274 invoice for a trip from Miami to the Dominican Republic and back. "And these ATC fees are about to be increased again," Parker said. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
