Jet Works To Seek STC For Lear 31 AHS-3000S Installations

North Texas MRO Operation Expects Authorization This Winter

Jet Works Air Center has announced they are seeking a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Rockwell Collins AHS-3000S Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) to be installed on Learjet 31 series aircraft.

This AHS-3000S provides accurate heading and attitude information to the flight deck and other on-board systems and is a direct replacement for the existing lite gyro system that was outfitted as original equipment. Also included in the STC is a digital interface adapter box for the King KFC-400A Autopilot System. Increased reliability and lower cycle cost than other conventional systems make the AHS-3000S an attractive option for Lear 31 owners and operators.

Jet Works Air Center will provide the wire harness and an interface adapter box as part of the AHS-3000 kit and expects final STC approval later this winter.

"Our Lear 31 customers see the value with this STC," commented Rick Purcella, Director of Sales and Marketing for Jet Works Air Center. "Installing this STC will increase their aircraft's reliability and reduce maintenance significantly."

For more information about this STC kit and how to purchase it, interested parties are encouraged to visit Jet Works at booth #5186 at the 2008 NBAA Meeting and Convention in Orlando, FL
