Eclipse Aerospace said in a news release Friday that it has sold five "Total Eclipse" Twin-Engine Jet Aircraft during the show this week. All five of these jets will be delivered to individual customers within 45 days. Eclipse Chairman and CEO Mason Holland said “Enthusiasm is really building for our Eclipse Jet. All proceeds from the car donation and sale will benefit the EAA Young Eagles organization, which the organization says has provided free introductory flights to more than 1.6 million young people since 1992 while also teaching the value of hard work, personal responsibility and enhanced math and science skills.

Those were some of the stories making news at Oshkosh for Friday, July 29th. In today's interview, ANN's Jim Campbell talked with Redbird's Jerry Gregoire about the simulator business and the new Skyport facility announced today.
