Aero-TV: Know Your Aero-Mission -- How To Buy Your First Airplane

It Helps To Get Some Education About HOW To Buy Your First/Next Airplane

While ANN has had a lot to say about aviation marketing of late... about how businesses SELL their products to the aviation world, we think its about time to turn the tables. Let's talk about being educated BUYERS... in other words... let's make this a two-way street.

With that in mind, we chatted up one of Premier Aircraft sales top sales-wizards to ask some basic questions about what pilots REALLY need to know about the buying and selling process... and how to get the airplane THEY really need -- as well as want. Too often pilots buy based on the immediate appeal of an airplane without researching their proper mission requirements, their skill-set and how much utilization the bird is likely to get in real life.

The best advice starts with making sure the pilot truly understands what they want out of an airplane and how they will actually use it. In other words, if you're just a Sunday flyer who rarely gets beyond the state border, then the latest IFR super-bird may be a lot more than you really need.

You get the drift... but for more insight, click on the link and join ANN's Jim Campbell and Premier Aircraft Sales' Michael Fabianac for a discussion of these and related issues.
