Becker DVCS6100 Audio System Integrated Into Bell 412s

System Selected For Houston Police Department, Australian Rescue Service

Becker Avionics’ DVCS6100 Digital Audio System was recently selected by the Houston PD Air Support Unit for integration into their newly acquired multi-mission Bell 412EP. Additionally, Australia’s Hunter Region Helicopter Rescue Service chose the DVCS for their new Bell 412EP. These aircraft are currently undergoing completion at Eagle Copters facility in Calgary Canada. The DVCS6100 was chosen by these customers due to its unique ability to effectively manage and control all audio sources in the helicopter.

Becker’s Digital multichannel audio and intercom system, with its software configurable profiles, provides the flexibility to specifically customize the system to meet the demanding multi-role operational requirements of HPD’s Air Support Unit. The DVCS6100 manages all transceivers, receivers and audio warning sources in one central system and provides simulcast capabilities on 8 channels.

"We are proud these customers selected our Digital Audio system, which will help enhance their mission capabilities," said Brett Gardner, Director of Sales and Marketing at Becker Avionics. "We look forward to working with them on the integration of the product in their aircraft.”
