DART Earns Transport Canada, FAA And EASA Approval Of Heli Baskets

Designed For Bell 205/210/212/214/412/UH-1 Helicopters

DART Helicopter Services recently announced its subsidiary DART Aerospace Ltd., received FAASA approval of their newly designed Low Profile Basket with an integrated Wrap-Around Step for Bell 205/210/212/214/412/UH-1 Aircraft.

Like DART's original basket, the Low Profile Basket is constructed of stainless steel with a high gloss, white scratch-resistant finish. Both versions of the basket may be installed on either the right or left side of the aircraft and installs using existing aircraft hard points.

DART's Low Profile Basket is designed with a slip resistant flat lid which provides a work platform and gives you easy access to the cargo cabin. The basket has 22 ft³ of cargo space and is capable of carrying a distributed load of 300 pounds which is ideal for transporting skis, golf clubs, fire fighting equipment or tools.

DART's Integrated Wrap-Around step is designed specifically to be mounted to either the Low Profile or original design  Basket and assists passenger entry. The step wraps around the forward and outboard sides of the basket and features a slip resistant surface.

DART Heli-Utility Baskets are also available for Augusta A119, Bell 206A/B, Bell 206L/L1/L3/L4, Bell 407, Bell 205/210/212/214/412/UH-1, Eurocopter AS 350/AS 355, and Eurocopter EC130 helicopters.
