B/E Aerospace Expands 'Ice Shield' De-Icing Product Line

B/E Aerospace, Inc. has expanded its pneumatic de-icer product line for general aviation aircraft, increasing its addressable market by more than 3,500 aircraft. B/E now offers Ice Shield(TM) pneumatic de-icers for the following aircraft types:

  • Beech 1900D
  • Cessna Citation 501, 525, and 551; and Cessna 210, T210, P210 Centurion, T-303 Crusader and 441 Conquest
  • Jetstream 32
  • Pilatus PC-12
  • Piper PA-600, 601, 602 Aerostar, PA-46 310, 350 Malibu/Mirage and PA-42 Cheyenne

B/E's wide selection of Ice Shield(TM) products also includes equipment approved for Embraer, Gulfstream, Fairchild and Mitsubishi aircraft, as well as other Beech, Cessna and Piper models in addition to those noted above.

"These products are interchangeable part-for-part with existing de-icers," said Mr. Robert Ayers, Vice President of B/E Aerospace. "In addition to our Edge Guard(TM) technology, which is laboratory proven to increase service life up to 60 percent, we guarantee 48-hour delivery in North America at no additional cost to the customer."
