World ATC Equipment Market to Be Worth $3.8 Billion In 2014

New Study On ASDReports Projects Growth In All Segments Of The Industry

New research now available on ASDReports, projects that values the global air traffic control equipment market at $3.49 billion in 2014. The research indicates the growth will be driven by international, regional and national demand and programs to modernize and upgrade their air traffic control and management equipment and systems to accommodate the increasing number of flights in infinite airspace as well as ensure safety and enhance the efficiency of flight operations.

The report forecasts indicate that the air traffic control equipment market will continue to record positive growth in the next decade. The most significant growth is expected to come from North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. This will be driven by international recommendations and directives, as well as national and regional initiatives to modernise and upgrade air traffic management equipment, systems and procedures as a means of optimizing airspace management in anticipation of the increasing amount of air traffic.  In accordance with international directives and recommendations, there is a transition towards planning and deploying satellite based navigation and surveillance systems. Emerging markets are indicating intentions to implement similar systems although are often required to commit to significant upgrade programs to replace legacy systems first.

The report provides forecasts for the period 2014-2024, detailing the value of the global air traffic control equipment market, 6 geographic regions are forecast and further divided into 5 submarkets, including communication equipment, navigation equipment, surveillance equipment, integrated air traffic management equipment and training and simulation equipment revealing 30 distinct market forecasts segments to study.

Furthermore, 17 leading national air traffic control equipment markets are broken out into the 5 submarkets (communication equipment, navigation equipment, surveillance equipment, integrated air traffic management equipment and training and simulation equipment) providing 85 discrete market forecasts to analyze.
