New Flight Data Monitoring System Demonstrated At AEA

Latitude Technologies Will Show Off New IONode, LoadNode Devices

Latitude Technologies Corporation  will demonstrate its new IONode and LoadNode onboard flight data and operational loads management devices this week at the AEA convention in Washington, D.C., and will be taking orders.

"I look forward to introducing AEA attendees to our FDM (Flight Data Monitoring) capabilities with the new IONode," said Latitude President Mark Insley. "Our IONode FDM supports HFDM best practices identified by the Global HFDM Steering Group."

Insley will discuss the new product during a presentation at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday April 4, at the Woodrow Wilson ballroom.

Latitude Technologies' IONode FDM is designed for both rotor and fixed-wing aircraft and there are five models available to fit various aircraft and mission types. The IONode FDM provides practical capability to download data from the aircraft to the ground station and provides the ground station with the capability to transfer data to the analysis system at every base. When interfaced to a Satcom system, the IONode provides real-time notification of events and alert detection thresholds based on rotorcraft flight manual limits. It can also define additional events and alert detection thresholds related to specific operational flight profiles, SOPs and airmanship principles. Latitude Technologies' IONode is FOQA program certifiable.

The product demonstration will be live-streamed around the world online.
