Joins ATG Board

ATG has named former Congressman Steve Largent (R-OK) to its Board of Directors. The former four-term Congressman and NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver joined the ATG Board a few weeks ago. About ATG and the JAVELIN he says, "I believe in the Company objectives and potential. I’m proud to join this Board and help guide Aviation Technology Group through the maze of growth and opportunity that lay before it."

The $2.20 million aircraft is a visually striking, all metal jet equipped for two occupants in first-class luxury. On paper, at least, the Javelin has awesome acceleration – unavailable in any production aircraft, climbing at approximately 12,000 fpm, to a certified ceiling of 49,000 feet. Its range is estimated at 1,440 sm, all at an operating cost of $0.79 per mile. ATG hopes the 600 mph jet will fly faster, farther, safer and for less cost than any light business jet on the market.

Completion of the first Javelin prototype’s and civilian FAA certification is expected to take about three years, putting first customer deliveries of the Javelin in 2006.
