Mooney Announces Partnership With Redbird Flight Simulator

Desktop Simulator Being Shown At Oshkosh

With sales shifting into high gear at Mooney International Corporation, the Company is pleased to announce its partnership with Redbird Flight Simulations. Mooney has purchased three feature-rich, full-motion Redbird FMX’s.

These state-of-the-art flight simulators will be on location at the Kerrville, Texas Manufacturing and Service Center Headquarters, Chino; California, the global corporate headquarters and in the newest location, Beijing, China, an office set to open later this summer.

The customized and calibrated flight simulators will mimic every aspect of a Mooney airplane, including their impeccable in-flight experience.

“It’s as authentic as you can get”, noted Tom Bowen, Chief Operating Officer for Mooney. “These simulators step up our sales game like never before because they will show any prospective pilot just how responsive a Mooney aircraft is in flight.” The Redbird FMX simulators will have Mooney branded graphics. Among the many features, the simulators will include a fully enclosed cockpit, quick-change configurations, customized wrap-around visuals, scenario-based training compatibility and an electric motion platform.

While these simulators will be used for sales, they will also serve as transition training and pilot proficiency training. At this year’s EAA AirVenture Show, Mooney will be demonstrating desktop versions of the simulators at its booth.
