Tampa International Jet Center Joins Avfuel Network

Company Calls KTPA A "Flagship Location"

Tampa International Jet Center has joined Avfuel’s Avnet network of premier FBOs to offer Avfuel programs and solutions. Opened in 2004 by aviation industry veteran and FBO President Phil Botana, Tampa International Jet Center today enjoys a considerable portion of the region’s aviation traffic market share. Backed by Botana’s extensive experience in FBO and aviation operations, the jet center continues to grow at a steady pace. Tampa Jet has been ranked among the top FBOs in the country every year since it opened, by AIN’s annual FBO Survey. As an Avfuel-branded FBO, Tampa International Jet Center now awards AVTRIP points on qualifying fuel purchases, and honors the Avfuel Contract Fuel program for jet fuel savings.

“At Tampa International Jet Center, we endeavor to go above and beyond basic needs and provide for customers’ special and unique needs. We think of ourselves not as a portal to the airport, but an extension of the overall travel experience,” said Botana. “Avfuel is pleased to have Tampa   International Jet Center (TIJC) become an integral part of our network of premier FBOs,” said Avfuel Director of Marketing Marci Ammerman. “A flagship location such as TIJC is ideal for our contract fuel users and AVTRIP members. We look forward to working with Phil Botana and his team on everything from marketing to quality assurance.”

Tampa International Jet Center has ramp access granted to ground vehicles and the Southeast US’s largest aircraft canopy (12,500 square feet). With 108,000 square feet of hangars, the FBO can offer overnight or long-term storage. Customers can either stop over for a while or receive a fast “quick turn.”

Pilots will enjoy a dedicated crew lounge with large TV, private bath with shower, and snooze room. They can also plan flights and use WSI in a briefing area. Among the many other amenities available, crews have access to luxury crew cars and courtesy transportation to airlines and local restaurants.
