To Be Hosted This Sunday at Europe-American Aviation (EAA)
On October 29, 2006 from 10 am – 3 pm Europe-American
Aviation (EAA) is going to present the Mock-up of the brand new
Diamond DJET. Still involved in the progress of flight testing,
this private jet is going to be one of the key players in the
evolving VLJ (Very Light Jet) market. EAA has invited their
domestic and international customers, related businesses and the
media to participate in this upcoming spectacular event.
First unveiled in spring 2006, the first Diamond D-JET still has
to undergo more flight testing until its final certification.
Equipped with the Garmin 1000 glass cockpit and integrated
autopilot, this single engine jet is the most comfortable high-end
solution for private transportation. Upon receipt of the
certification the private jet is exptected to go into serial
production estimated at the beginning of 2008. In the meantime, a
Mock-up of this latest achievement of Diamond’s engineering
will be demonstrated to the public at a few selected destinations
only.
Sunday, October 29th is going to be one of these rare moments
where people are invited to check out the D-Jet Mock-up. In
addition to this innovation, the flight school is also going to
display their own fleet of Diamond Aircraft. Starting with the two
seater DA20, they will also show the newly released DA40 XL and the
DA42 Twin Star.
“We feel very honored to be one of the only two locations
in Florida showing the D-JET Mock-up” says Carsten Sturm
(pictured below), owner and president of EAA.
The event starts from 10 am – 3 pm at Naples Airport
Authority, Europe-American Aviation, 200 Airport Drive North # 6,
Naples, FL 34104.
