Angel MedFlight Honors Students For Autism Awareness Month

Providing Computers To Gateway Academy In Arizona

Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance is honoring students during National Autism Awareness Month by donating 15 iMac computers to Gateway Academy in Arizona, a school specializing in students with Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism and PDD-nos.  The computers will be used for the school's Digital Music/Video Editing Program.

In addition to the donation, Angel MedFlight is hosting an event for the students to learn about aviation and the air medical industry. "We always looks for ways to give back to our community and ensure children have exposure to the aviation field and its career possibilities," said Angel MedFlight Executive Vice President, Cassandra Graper.

Students will have a chance to learn CPR, pose for pictures with Angel MedFlight Pilots, Flight Nurses and Paramedics, see the equipment used to transport patients and even learn about aircraft maintenance.

Angel MedFlight says it is honored to provide opportunities and tools to support the educational growth of Gateway Academy students.
